PRIVACY & PERSONAL DATA
Basic information on data handling –
The protection of your personal data is very important to us and we assure that they will be used in accordance with the applicable Greek and European Privacy laws, including the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and only to the minimum extent necessary and for lawful purposes such as for the proper function of the online store and its services and for being compliant with the tax authorities. We would therefore like to inform you in the following pages about the data collected during your visit and the purposes it is used for. Should you still have any queries about the handling of your personal data, please contact our data protection officer, [●].
Purposes and legal basis for the processing of personal data
We fundamentally collect and use the personal data of our users only insofar as this is required for the provision of a functional website and of our contents and services as well as for the implementation of our business purpose. We collect and use the personal data of our users only after the user has given its consent. Exceptions apply in such cases where it was not possible to obtain prior consent for factual reasons and where the processing of the data is permitted because of statutory requirements.
During the use of the services of www.graceatelier.world you will be asked to provide some personal data such as name, surname, address, delivery address, email, phone number. You should also provide these data to create an account or to activate relevant services (newsletters, etc) for your account and to assure our Company ability to communicate with you. Additionally, you are asked to provide some payment details (such as invoice address card number, its expiry date as well as the 3-digit security code of your card, that you will use in order to buy one or more of the products provided via www.graceatelier.world).
We shall make sure to keep your personal data on secure third – party server.
Right to object and removal
In case you do not wish to be notified regarding our news at any point or to cancel your registration you will be able any time to withdraw your consent either by unsubscribing from our customers’ list or by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you would like to: correct, modify or delete any personal information we have about you or to revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data, please contact us via email on the email address provided here above. In case of your revocation of consent as well as your objection to storage of your personal data all personal data stored during the establishment of the contact is deleted.
When you browse our website, we automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information about your browser and operating system. By using our website, you agree to our Terms and Conditions. By exception we may reveal your personal information in case we are required to do so by law and/or if you breach our Terms.
Duration of the storage
The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. This is the case for the data collected during the registration process if the registration on our internet site is cancelled or modified.
In the case of storage of data in logfiles, this is the case after seven days at the latest. Storage above and beyond this period is possible. In this case the IP addresses of the user are deleted or distorted so that it is no longer possible to recognize the calling client.
Insofar as the data collected during the registration process is required to perform a contract or to take steps prior to entering into a contract, this is only the case when the data is no longer required to perform the contract. Even after conclusion of the contract it may still be necessary to store personal data in order to fulfil contractual or statutory obligations. Personal data is stored as a measure to prevent fraud. The deletion deadline for the purposes of fraud prevention is 6 months, for actual attempts of fraud 6 months.
For the personal data from the input mask of the contract form and the personal data sent by email, this is the case when the conversation with the user has ended. The conversation is deemed to have ended when the circumstances suggest that the subject matter in question has been conclusively clarified.
Categories of recipients and personal data – data transmission:
We forward personal data to our business partners and service providers for the implementation of the business purpose. To implement our business purpose we use typical contact and address data of our customer and business partners. We typically receive the personal data direct from the data subject or with the consent of the data subject and also in exceptional cases from third parties.
Insofar as nothing to the contrary is stated in the following sections, no forwarding of your data to third parties takes place, unless we are legally obliged to do so, or the data transmission is required to perform the contractual relationship or you have previously given your explicit consent to the forwarding of your data or use this information in order to improve our products and services and notify you periodically with our news. External service providers and partner companies, such as, for example, online payment providers or the shipping company tasked with the delivery, only receive your data insofar as it is necessary for the execution of your order. However, in these cases the extent of the transmitted data is restricted to the minimum required. Insofar as our service providers come into contact with your personal data, we assure that the regulations of the data protection laws are observed in the same manner. Please also observe the data protection notices of the individual providers. The individual service provider is responsible for the contents of third party services, whereby we verify as far as can be reasonably expected that the services observe statutory requirements.
A safe SSL connection (Secure Socket Layer) provides for the safe transmission of your personal data, including credit card and account information. We take reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure and we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the website. Nevertheless, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and we implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
All payments made using the card are processed through the electronic payment platform of “Alpha e-Commerce” of Alpha Bank and uses TLS 1.2 encryption protocol with 128-bit (Secure Sockets Layer – SSL). Encryption is a way of coding the information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.

GRACE handbags are made of excellent quality calf leather in grain, smooth and suede finish. They are intended for everyday use but they should be handled with care as they are delicate, handmade products. Please avoid storing the bag in a way that can damage the shape of it and always keep it in the original dust bag. You should not carry heavy objects in the bags or expose it to abrasive surfaces that may scratch it. Also, avoid any contact with liquids, rain included. Light coloured handbags should not be in direct contact with darker materials (suede, denim, dyed fabrics etc) as they might rub off on it and permanently stain it. Grain calf leather and smooth calf leather handbags can benefit from occasional treatment with a leather conditioner.
HANDBAGS – SUEDE LEATHER
Our suede handbags are made of smooth, supple suede leather that is very delicate and soft to the touch. The colour of suede products may transfer on other surfaces. Please do not bring suede handbags in touch with lighter coloured surfaces or fabrics. Also, avoid contact with liquids, rain included. Humidity and heat may also increase the possibility of colour transferring to other fabrics or surfaces. We recommend that you treat your suede handbag with a protective spray for suede leather and that you occasionally use a suede brush in order to refresh its look and smooth out its velvety surface.
HANDBAGS – CANVAS TRIMMED WITH LEATHER
Our canvas is naturally light coloured and, as a result, darker materials (suede, denim, loosely dyed fabrics etc) might rub off on it and permanently stain it. Also, please do not bring the canvas part of the handbags in contact with liquids, rain included. We recommend that you treat the canvas part of your handbag with a protective spray so that it doesn’t stain and that you avoid contact with abrasive surfaces so that it is not scratched, pulled or teared.
HANDBAGS – METALLIC LEATHERS
We occasionally use metallic leathers on GRACE handbags. Light coloured metallic handbags should not be in direct contact with darker materials (suede, denim, dyed fabrics etc) as they might rub off on it and permanently stain them. Please, also avoid any contact of the handbags with liquids (rain included) and abrasive surfaces as they may get damaged or scratched.
GRACE ATELIER WORLD sandals are made of excellent quality genuine leather. In order to expand their lifespan, please avoid any contact with liquids (rain and water included) and overexposure to heat or sunlight. Leather is a natural material that can be affected from external factors. We recommend that you treat your sandals with a protective spray that is intended for use with the particular leather that your sandals are made of.
